Qualifications

• A minimum of six months specialized training beyond high school.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sterile compounding; home infusion preferred.
• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares IV admixtures for home infusion patients.
• Interprets and follows complex compounding formulas.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment used in clean room and related policies.
• Ensures correct NDC products are used for compounding and accurate charge capture.
• Maintains knowledge of IV stability and storage considerations.
• Handles hazardous drugs preparation and related safety protocols.
• Maintains patient records and compliant documentation.
• Assists with scheduling deliveries and coordinating with vendors.
