Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Tech Specialist for the evening shift in the In-patient Pharmacy. The inpatient pharmacy operates 24/7 to service inpatients, the ED, ORs, and procedural areas.

The role includes advanced technical duties, supervision of technicians, and collaboration with nursing and pharmacy management to ensure safe, efficient medication distribution. Required are Michigan Pharmacy Technician licensure, at least six months of post-high school training,

Qualifications

Minimum six months specialized training beyond high school.
Minimum one-year experience at the pharmacy technician level.
Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan is required.

Responsibilities

Performs all job functions of a Pharmacy Technician II on an as needed basis.
Functionally supervises the daily activities of approximately 30 technicians on an as needed basis.
Monitors daily work schedule, assigns duties to technicians and revises assignments as needed.
