Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Hybrid Pharmacy & Project Manager to lead vendor relationships and steer multiple concurrent pharmacy-focused initiatives. You will coordinate with SHP, clinical operations, finance, compliance, and IT to ensure strategic alignment and delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare PM, PMP certification, and deep knowledge of 340B and pharmacy regulations, with a track record of multi‑million‑dollar savings and executive communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years healthcare project management experience, with at least 5 years leading complex pharmacy initiatives.
• PMP certification required.
• Pharmacy benefit operations, contracting, vendor management, formulary strategy, and pharmacy financial management.
• Deep understanding of 340B program requirements, specialty pharmacy operations, and applicable pharmacy regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing multi‑million‑dollar savings portfolios and strategic transformation efforts.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, vendor management, problem‑solving, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects within complex healthcare organizations.
• Pharmacy technician certification, pharmacist licensure, or equivalent credential strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, initiative, and execution of multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
• Manage vendor relationships and serve as primary contact for SHP and pharmacy partners.
• Oversee project governance, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain project charters, governance structures, and communication plans.
• Provide executive dashboards, reports, and scorecards on progress and risks.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, finance, IT, compliance, and external vendors.
• Identify risks, mitigation plans, and change-management activities.
• Deliver executive summaries and updates to leadership.
