AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a pharmacist leader to oversee operations and programs in the hospital pharmacy. You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with campus leadership to deliver patient-centered care across medication therapy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) required.
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and programs of assigned pharmacy areas, including staffing and coaching for technicians and pharmacists.
• Schedule employees to meet productivity targets and department objectives.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to resolve medication-related issues and execute campus strategies.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements as Consultant of Record with the state Board of Pharmacy as applicable.
• Manage medication distribution, optimize utilization, minimize waste, and maximize inventory turns.
• Maintain a practice environment aligned with hospital standards and pharmacy innovations.
• Assist budget preparation and manage assigned budgets and financial resources.
