Job summary

Confidential Employer in Middletown, CT seeks an on-site Pharmacy Leader to direct day-to-day operations, develop a talented team, and ensure top-quality patient care in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 5+ years of pharmacy experience.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

• LTC, skilled nursing, hospice pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong computer, organizational, inventory management, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day pharmacy operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant medication services.
• Coach and support pharmacy staff to create a collaborative, high performing environment.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance, quality standards, dispensing accuracy, and medication management processes.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare facilities, physicians, customers, and internal teams.
• Oversee workflow, staffing, inventory management, cost controls, and operational performance.
• Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to resolve pharmacy, patient care, and operational issues.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, customer service, efficiency, and pharmacy performance.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Note: Candidates must hold an active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing and have 5+ years of pharmacy experience. Long term care pharmacy experience is strongly preferred but not required for the right candidate.
