Job summary

Deloitte's Employer Health team seeks a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Consulting, to advise on PBM strategy, contracting, and financial performance for employer and public-sector plans. You will analyze claims, support renewals, and guide plan design and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 5+ years of consulting or brokerage experience in U.S. health and welfare benefits programs.
• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting PBM RFPs, including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• 5 years' experience analyzing PBM contract financial components and underwriting health and welfare benefits beyond basic model use.
• 2 years of experience managing multiple concurrent client projects.
• Ability to travel 0-30%, on average, based on work and clients.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PBM contracts, deal terms, and pricing arrangements.
• Lead or support PBM and health and welfare benefit RFPs, including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• Analyze pharmacy claims, utilization, and financial data; prepare self-insured projections.
• Develop health and group benefits strategies and plan design recommendations.
• Manage client projects and workstreams; present reports; mentor junior team members.
