Job summary

Deloitte's Employer Health team seeks a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Consulting to advise employers and public-sector plan sponsors on PBM strategy, contracting, and financial performance, blending prescription drug benefits with broader health and group benefits consulting.

You will lead or support PBM RFPs, evaluate contracts, analyze claims and financial data, prepare client-ready reports, and mentor junior teammates while collaborating with HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of consulting or brokerage experience supporting US health and welfare benefits.
• 5+ years leading PBM RFPs, including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• 5 years' PBM contract analysis experience beyond basic model use.
• 2 years of experience managing multiple concurrent client projects.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PBM contracts, pricing, and performance guarantees.
• Lead or support PBM RFPs, including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• Analyze pharmacy claims and financial data; prepare self-insured projections; advise renewal decisions.
• Develop health and group benefits strategies and plan design guidance.
• Manage client projects, present reports, and mentor junior team members.
