Job summary

Deloitte’s Employer Health team seeks a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Consulting to advise on PBM strategy, contracting, and financial performance for employer and public-sector plans. You will analyze contracts, lead RFPs, and provide actionable insights to optimize costs and risk.

You’ll work with HR teams, manage projects, and mentor junior staff while delivering client-ready reports and presentations. Travel 0–30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of consulting or brokerage experience supporting US health and welfare benefits.
• 5+ years leading PBM RFPs, including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• 5 years’ experience analyzing PBM contracts and underwriting health & welfare benefits.
• 2 years of experience managing multiple client projects; willingness to travel 0–30%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PBM contracts, deals, pricing, and performance guarantees.
• Lead PBM and RFP processes including pricing analysis and vendor eval.
• Analyze claims, utilization and financial data for renewals.
• Develop health and group benefits strategy and plan design guidance.
• Manage projects, present client-ready reports, and mentor juniors.
