Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s UnitedHealthcare unit is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support members by collecting clinical information and processing Part D requests. This full-time telecommute role offers consistent daytime hours and a chance to impact patient care from anywhere in the U.S.

You will handle outbound calls, maintain accuracy in documentation, and use Windows-based applications to meet deadlines while collaborating with a team and adhering to policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in your state or national certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable with our process to best support our members.
• Meet department production, quality, and success rate standards.
• Work independently and as a team to achieve goals.
• Make outbound calls to collect clinical information for Medicare Part D appeals.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication.
• Meet case deadlines and model attendance.
• Work in Windows-based applications and other complex systems.
