Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a PhD-level Pharmacometrician to conceive and execute multidisciplinary PK/PD modeling and simulations to support development plans and regulatory strategies. You will lead PK/PD modeling efforts across multiple functions and generate novel proposals while driving methodological innovations.

Qualifications

• PhD with typically 3+ years of experience in Pharmacometrics, data science, mathematics, biostatistics, modeling and simulation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with enterprise view and proven scientific/technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary PK/PD modeling and simulations to support development plans and regulatory requirements.
• Assist senior management in selecting action plans for drug development.
• Author PK/PD analysis plans, study reports, exposure–response analyses, and regulatory documents.
• Represent Pharmacometrics in Clinical Pharmacology teams and present to leadership.
• Collaborate to develop a unified Clinical Pharmacology position across teams.
• Author scientific publications and present at national and international conferences.
