Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a seasoned clinical pharmacology leader to conceive and manage PK/PD development plans across multiple programs. The role requires directing multidisciplinary teams, authoring regulatory documents, and communicating results to regulatory and scientific audiences.

You will lead pharmacology strategy across Phase 1–4 studies, coordinate data analyses, and contribute to business decisions with external stakeholders and KOLs.

Qualifications

• PhD with typically 4+ years of experience in pharmacology, PK/PD or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with external collaboration abilities.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proven scientific track record and strong technical competency.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Phase 1-4 studies design and clinical pharmacology strategy as project representative.
• Execute strategy, lead teams, perform data analyses, and interpret MoA and disease specifics.
• Author regulatory documents (protocols, study reports, CTDs, supple papers) and summarize findings.
• Lead clinical pharmacology/biopharmaceutics meetings; present to strategy and asset teams.
• Drive small teams to present unified clinical pharmacology positions to other functions.
• Publish scientific work and interact with KOLs and external stakeholders.
• Represent Clinical Pharmacology in regulatory meetings and BD due diligence.
