Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join our client’s Welkom-based manufacturing operations. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable pharmaceutical processes that meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates bring extensive process engineering expertise in pharma/biotech, with strong GMP knowledge and a track record in scale-up, validation, and technology transfer.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of process engineering experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience with scale-up, validation, and technology transfer.
• Strong GMP knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, scale-up, and validate manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues to ensure efficient production.
• Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Ensure all processes comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and R&D to support product lifecycle management.
