Waters Corporation seeks a Principal Market Development Manager - Pharmaceuticals to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans for instrumentation, software, consumables, and services in the Americas pharmaceutical markets. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in scientific, engineering, or marketing discipline.
7+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in pharmaceutical instrumentation.
Proven ability to develop and execute business plans and lead from the front with little direct support.
Excellent interpersonal skills: communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively.
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Waters core values.
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all corporate departments both local and global.
Self-motivated with the ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a marketing business plan aligned with corporate strategy to help deliver Pharmaceutical revenue in the Americas. Create an integrated marketing plan that promotes Waters solutions via marketing communications, digital campaigns, seminars, user meetings, scientific meetings and tradeshows.
Demand Generation: strategy and execution of marketing activities to generate and nurture leads via events, digital marketing, targeted social media, and partner marketing to optimize pipeline fill.
Monitoring and reporting: oversee marketing performance and impact via KPIs including MQLs, conversion rate, funnel creation, campaign success, orders/sales.
Support of Sales Specialists: maintain dialogue with Field Sales and Service teams and support within sales situations; strengthen KOL network in country.
Advocate for internal and external customer needs, work across multiple product, service, vertical market, and geographic organizations to build consensus and influence change.
Local Industry SME/Champion: become established subject matter expert for Pharmaceutical industry in the Americas, influence and support Waters efforts.
Market Trend Analysis: spot trends, identify opportunities, monitor competitive activity and positioning.
