Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) in Michigan seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the parenteral contract services market. You will manage key client relationships, develop strategic plans, and lead a team under the VP of Business Development.

You will own the sales process from prospecting to closing, coordinate with operations on proposals, and ensure cGMP compliance while growing revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Science, Finance and/or Business.
• 12+ years related experience with 5–8 years in PM/AM/Sales or marketing with client-facing responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and budgeting/forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business from multiple sources including cold calling and inbound leads via company website and industry events.
• Develop and maintain expertise of the territory and client base.
• Maintain lead generation and manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Own the customer relationship, communicate needs, and coordinate with internal teams for profitable, sustainable relationships.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and generate reports (activity, metrics, targets) as requested.
• Understand proposals, pricing, and submission processes; review with VP before finalization.
• Lead negotiations under VP direction and legal counsel for NDAs and supply agreements.
