Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the parenteral market. You will develop and manage key client relationships, understand client needs, and advance strategic opportunities within a designated territory.

This leadership role may supervise a Business Development team under the VP of Business Development. You will lead negotiations, coordinate with internal teams, ensure service levels, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Finance and/or Business required.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience with 5–8 years in project/account management, sales or marketing with client-facing responsibilities in pharma or contract manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and budgeting/forecasting.
• Prior sales training.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and generate new business from multiple sources including cold calling and inbound leads.
• Develop and manage territory; maintain lead generation and follow full sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Own the customer relationship, drive improvements, and communicate needs internally.
• Maintain customer data in Salesforce; generate activity reports and forecasts.
• Lead negotiations under VP guidance; manage key accounts to ensure service levels.
