AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer in our Industrial Remediation Practices group to support remediation system design and operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The candidate will have prior experience in remediation system design and management/oversight of operations, maintenance, and monitoring.

Strong verbal and written communication is critical for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related field.
• FE or EIT is required.
• Masters degree or PhD in Civil or environmental engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and remediation system design.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• PE Designation - any state within USA.

Responsabilités

• Plan and manage environmental field work, including remediation systems operations, maintenance, and monitoring, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.
• Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays. May require up to a 20-30% travel commitment at times.
• Interfacing and writing reports to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with budgeting, schedule, scope development and cost tracking.
