Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Engineer for our Industrial Remediation Practices group. You will support remediation system design, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation projects, applying data management and technical reporting skills across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with engineers and scientists, and may include up to 20–30% travel. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• FE or EIT is required; PE designation preferred.
• Master’s or PhD in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remediation system design and operations oversight.
• Soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.
• Data management and technical report production.
• Provide technical input and reviews across project deliverables.
• Travel to project locations up to 20–30% as needed.
