Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer in our Industrial Remediation Practices group to support remediation system design and operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The candidate will have strong multi-discipline technical and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently or within teams and delivering clear client reports.

Preferred qualifications include PFAS experience and a PE or EIT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field; 6+ years of experience.
• Pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check per policy.
• US citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee remediation systems and operations.
• Oversee soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.
• Manage data and produce technical reports.
• Support project managers with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontracts.
• Travel up to 20–30% as needed.
