Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Engineer in our Industrial Remediation Practices group to support remediation system design, soil and groundwater investigations, and project oversight. The role requires strong multi-disciplinary technical and interpersonal skills, with travel up to 20-30% as needed.

The candidate will manage data and reports, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with engineers and scientists to deliver cost-effective remediation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is required; sponsorship for this role not available.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• FE or EIT is preferred; PFAS experience; advanced degrees encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Remediation system design and operations support for soil and groundwater projects.

• Plan, supervise, and review remediation field activities and oversight of subcontractors.
