Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Senior Petroleum Inspector to perform field inspections of shore tanks, barges, and ships, ensuring compliance with policies and client instructions. The role requires leadership, accuracy, and strong communication with Operations and clients.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, senior inspector training, IFIA certification, TWIC, and reliable vehicle with license and insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills.
• Must complete Senior Inspector level training and pass tests.
• Must have or obtain IFIA certification before first anniversary with CCC.
• Must maintain a valid TWIC badge and vehicle-related requirements.
• Must be dependable, able to work independently and guide others.
• Must pass company-defined physical requirements and site access criteria.

Responsibilities

• Act as a company representative in the field following policies and schedules.
• Communicate duties clearly with operations, terminals, and vessels to avoid delays.
• Obtain, label, and transport samples to the lab per job specs.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and document field results.
• Measure gauge and temperature, perform field calculations, and submit reports.
• Perform specialized inspections (loss control, wall washings, confined space) as trained.
• Assist in training of less experienced inspectors.
