Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with good math skills.
• Inspector level training and tests must be completed.
• IFIA certification after gaining at least six months of experience.
• Must hold a valid TWIC and a driver’s license with a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with clients at terminals.

Responsibilities

• Act as Company representative in the field; follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular contact with Operations, terminals, and vessels to avoid delays.
• Obtain, label and transport samples to the laboratory promptly.
• Maintain inspection equipment; ensure calibration and storage.
• Measure products and perform field calculations per API standards.
• Perform specialized inspection services as trained (loss control, wall washings, confined space).
• Assist in training Probationary and Junior Inspectors.
