Job summary

OWL Services, a premier provider of petroleum construction services, seeks a Petroleum Construction Lead in the Apopka, FL area. This hands-on field leadership role requires directing crews, reading plans, and ensuring safe, compliant installation of USTs/ASTs and fuel piping.

Expect frequent travel and outdoor work in varied conditions. Preferred candidates bring 5+ years in petroleum construction, strong plan-reading skills, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel overnight.

Qualifications

5+ years of petroleum construction or fuel-system installation experience.
Experience reading and interpreting construction plans, civil drawings, site plans, and equipment details.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform installation of USTs, ASTs, fuel piping, and related equipment.
Supervise and direct field crews during petroleum construction activities.
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and details.
Verify elevations, grades, slopes, tank elevations, piping grades, and site layouts.
Coordinate daily construction activities with PMs, contractors, inspectors and other trades.
Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with OSHA requirements and company policies.
Complete daily documentation on quantities, progress, and field conditions.
