Job summary

OWL Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead to supervise and perform the installation of USTs, ASTs, fuel piping, and related petroleum equipment across our projects. This hands-on field leadership role requires reading construction plans, leading crews, and ensuring work meets project specs and safety standards.

The role entails frequent travel and overnight assignments; candidates must have 5+ years in petroleum construction, strong planning and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years in petroleum construction or related field.
• Experience installing USTs and ASTs.
• Ability to read construction plans and elevations.
• Supervising crews and coordinating field activities.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of USTs/ASTs and petroleum equipment.
• Direct field crews and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors.
• Read drawings and verify elevations, grades, and site layouts.
• Ensure work follows plans, specs and safety policies.
• Complete daily documentation of progress and materials.
