Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking a Petroleum Construction Helper in Apopka, FL. This full-time, on-site role supports installation and modification of underground and aboveground storage tanks, fuel piping, and related equipment.

The position requires travel and overnight stays, a safety-minded attitude, and a willingness to learn petroleum construction methods. The role involves assisting with concrete prep, tank settings, and site layouts while working under a Lead or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in petroleum construction, fuel systems, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or utilities is a plus.
• Willingness to learn petroleum construction methods and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Safety-conscious attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and removal of USTs/ASTs and fuel piping.
• Support Petroleum Construction Lead and crew with daily activities.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize tools and materials.
• Assist with excavation, tank setting, piping installation, backfilling and concrete prep.
• Help install tank sumps, spill containment and vent piping.
• Learn to read basic construction plans and site layouts.
• Operate hand and power tools as trained and approved.
• Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and report hazards.
