Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Staff Detector Scientist (PET Electronics) to lead research, design, and validation of advanced PET detectors for next‑generation imaging systems. You will shepherd hardware concepts from feasibility through prototyping and system integration, with hands‑on lab work and minimal management duties.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or related field.
Approximately 5–10 years of relevant R&D experience with PET detector electronics.

Responsibilities

Lead R&D of advanced PET detector electronics for next‑gen imaging systems.
Develop detector readout architectures including ASIC interfaces and FPGA processing.
Prototype, test, and validate detector electronics from concept to product realization.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across R&D, manufacturing and quality.
