Job summary

Safepoint MGA, LLC is seeking experienced homeowners underwriters to support our Personal Lines Homeowners department. Enjoy a base salary up to $70,000 with a $2,000 sign-on bonus after the intro period, in a financially solid team focused on growth.

This role emphasizes risk analysis, policy interpretation, and collaboration across states. The position requires 3–5 years of homeowners underwriting experience, a TX P&C license (and reciprocal licenses), excellent communication skills, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years underwriting experience for a carrier in property and casualty homeowners insurance.
• TX P&C Individual Producer license and reciprocal licenses in all 50 states.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting process and analytics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills and strong systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review exterior inspection reports and new business submissions for homeowners risks.
• Evaluate requests for cancellations/nonrenewals, reinstatements, and endorsements.
• Interpret manuals and contracts for multiple lines across states.
• Enter data accurately into the policy administration system.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Adhere to productivity and quality metrics; handle additional tasks as assigned.
