DJC Law, PLLC seeks an accomplished Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with significant trial experience in Austin, Texas. You will independently manage a full docket from inception through trial, lead in court, and mentor junior attorneys while driving high-value cases to favorable outcomes.

The role demands strong courtroom presence, strategic case valuation, and collaborative teamwork to support the growth of our plaintiff-focused practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 5–10+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience handling cases through litigation, depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving abilities.
• Expert witness deposition experience.
• Extensive trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full litigation caseload from filing through resolution or trial.
• Oversee discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain ongoing communication with clients.
• Evaluate case value and develop litigation strategies to maximize outcomes.
• Prepare cases for trial with witness prep and exhibit development.
• Serve as first-chair or second-chair in jury and bench trials.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development.
