Confidential Jobs in Providence, RI seeks an experienced Paralegal to support a civil litigation and personal injury practice in a fully in-office role. You will manage intake, draft pleadings, handle discovery, and coordinate with attorneys, investigators, and clients to move cases toward trial.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in civil litigation, including personal injury, strong calendaring, superb written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management

Qualifications

• 5+ years civil litigation experience, including drafting motions, preparing discovery, reviewing records, scheduling, e-filing, and hearing/trial preparation.
• Prior experience in a personal injury law office.
• Skilled legal calendaring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client relations and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and comfortable in legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and court filings
• Manage extensive, high-touch client communication
• Prepare discovery requests and responses
• Assist with intake calls from potential clients
• Coordinate directly with judges and opposing counsel
• Partner with investigators and attorneys on intake tracking, case evaluation, and sign-up decisions
• Support hearing and trial preparation, e-filing, and calendar management
