Qualifications

• Cash handling and transaction management experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, sales environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with receipt and payment of cash
• Follow bank policies under supervision
• Evaluate customer relationships to offer bank products and services
• Assist in new account production goals
• Engage in in-store prospecting and cross-selling
• Process deposits and disburse funds, balance daily operations
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements
• Guard against counterfeit currency and verify identifications
• Enter transactions into computer systems and issue receipts
• Sell money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, and CDs
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances
• Provide bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish speakers
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
• Approval limits based on established authority levels
