Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Permitting Manager (Product Development Manager) to lead early-stage data center projects across the US. You will oversee due-diligence, entitlement, design, and pre-construction, coordinating with designers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and city officials to ensure timely approvals.

Reporting to the VP of Product Delivery Services, this on-site role requires strong budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory navigation, with opportunities to shape Basis of

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in development permitting.
• Experience in mission-critical/data center projects preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in civil/structural engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture, or architecture.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the permitting process for design reviews with vendors, city officials, and consultants.
• Collaborate with design teams to align with project goals and standards.
• Navigate regulatory landscapes to facilitate permitting.
• Contribute to Basis of Design and integrate requirements into design.
• Coordinate with procurement on OFCI and long-lead items.
• Support pre-construction and transition to Construction Project Manager.
• Assist in budgeting and scheduling.
• Work with QA/QC and commissioning teams during handover.
• Other duties as assigned.
