• Detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with municipal experience.
• 7+ years as a Permit Technician in a municipality.
• Knowledge of permitting software and processes.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support at the permit counter and over the phone.
• Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Calculate and collect permit fees.
• Process and issue building permits.
• Ensure conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance.
• Assist the public with completing permit applications.
• Verify all necessary project approvals are obtained.
