Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse to join a proactive, interdisciplinary care team. You will deliver individualized, high-quality perioperative nursing in a collaborative environment guided by WellStar governance and professional practice models.

As a licensed RN, you will use evidence-based standards, promote patient safety, and support shared governance and continuous improvement across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse); Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia with multi-state options acceptable.
• All required certifications must be obtained upon hire, including ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care that respects age, culture and population needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Adhere to professional practice standards and WellStar policies and safety absolutes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support performance improvement initiatives.
