Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse II (PRN) to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care under general supervision in the Pre-Op Testing area. You will work closely with the health care team to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients and families.

Associate degree is required; BSN preferred. BLS is required; ACLS is required. Minimum one year RN experience. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
