Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer II to join the FPG Maternal Fetal Medicine team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasounds, including level I/II, nuchal translucency, and fetal echocardiography, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to OSHA standards.

The role supports high-risk pregnancies under board-certified MFM physicians and a collaborative team. The position offers a $2,000 hiring bonus and requires ARDMS credentials in fetal echocardiography

Qualifications

Three years of diagnostic ultrasound in a high-risk obstetrical environment.
ARDMS registration in fetal echocardiography.
ARDMS registration in Obstetrics and Gynecology at time of hire.
Graduation from an accredited US school or equivalent.
Sterile technique proficiency for invasive procedures.
Proficiency in MCA and UA studies.
Advanced knowledge to perform diagnostic 3D/4D ultrasound.
Ability to extend imaging protocols as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound including level I, II, and fetal assessments.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with OSHA and compliance standards.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide high quality patient care.
Interface with medical staff and external entities regarding ultrasound matters.
