Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's First Physicians Group is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer II to support our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasounds, including level I and II studies, nuchal translucency and fetal echocardiography, while maintaining patient confidentiality and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in high-risk obstetric ultrasound, ARDMS fetal echocardiography registration, OB/GYN registration at hire,

Qualifications

• Three years of diagnostic ultrasound in high-risk obstetrics.
• ARDMS fetal echocardiography registration required.
• OB/GYN registration at time of hire.
• Graduate from accredited US school or equivalent.
• Proficient sterile technique for invasive procedures.
• Proficient in MCA and UA measurements.
• Ability to perform 3D/4D ultrasound and interpret results.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient history adaptations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasounds including level I, II, and fetal echocardiography.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide high-quality obstetric care.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with OSHA standards.
• Interface with medical staff and external entities on ultrasound matters.
• Extend imaging protocols as patient history or findings require.
