Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a perinatal obstetric ultrasound specialist to perform advanced maternal-fetal medicine imaging for high-risk pregnancies. You will document findings, archive images, and ensure patient care standards are met.

Required RDMS and BLS certifications, plus 1 year obstetric sonography experience; Fetal Echocardiography certification within 1 year is expected. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a Foundation clinic model.

Qualifications

• 1 year sonography experience to include obstetrics.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS) required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
• Fetal Echocardiography Certification (RDMS-FE) required within 1 year of hire; Nuchal Translucency Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level perinatal and obstetric ultrasounds evaluating fetal development on high-risk pregnancies and document findings.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams; explain procedures to patients.
