Job summary

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) seeks a Sr. Manager, Perinatal Programs to provide statewide leadership for perinatal health initiatives within the Division of Women, Children, and Nursing Services.

This role ensures alignment with funding, reporting, and program guidelines while advancing maternal and infant health across Georgia. Lead quality improvement through GaPQC, collaborate with hospitals and RPCs, and guide policy and grant activities.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Masters degree in Public Health or related field.
• Experience with contracts, grants and related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement perinatal and women’s health initiatives to improve maternal and infant outcomes.
• Provide leadership and monitoring for quality improvement initiatives within GaPQC.
• Support the Regional Perinatal System and align services to statewide priorities.
• Collaborate with RPC Medical Directors and Outreach Educators on program implementation.
• Build relationships with hospitals and community organizations to improve access to care.
• Develop policies, procedures, and strategic plans for women's perinatal initiatives.
• Assist with grant applications, reporting, and fiscal oversight.
