Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer - Perimeter Security to deliver security controls across our enterprise.

You will work within the Security Services Data Protection team to integrate controls into existing infrastructure and support ongoing operations. You will engineer, implement, and support perimeter security across on-prem and cloud environments, collaborating with Cyber Security and business units to meet security outcomes while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in an IT engineering role.
• Working knowledge of IT engineering concepts and the SDLC milestones.
• Fundamental knowledge of on-prem perimeter security controls (web proxies, NGFW).
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud perimeter security controls (WAF, DoS, ZTNA products like ZScaler ZTNA).
• Experience creating technical documents (engineering specs, runbooks, playbooks).

Responsibilities

• Engineering, implementation, and support of perimeter security controls.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security stakeholders to align capabilities with policies and standards.
• Coordinate deployment with business units to minimize service disruption.
• Operate in an agile framework with sprints and defined objectives.
• Provide updates via JIRA and daily scrums.
• Serve as tier 4 support during standard hours and participate in after-hours rotations.
• Help drive operational excellence by enhancing capabilities and knowledge bases.
