We are looking for passionate individuals who excel in driving growth through performance marketing channels. As the Growth Acquisition Performance Marketing Manager, you will be part of a dynamic Marketing team focused on revenue growth via top-of-funnel marketing and paid media. The team is analytical and data-driven, aiming to enhance DigitalOcean's digital advertising strategies. You will own and strategize the SEM channel, focusing on new user acquisition and ROI-positive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with keen attention to detail, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive performance marketing strategies, including paid acquisition across SEM, paid social, media, sponsorships, influencer collaborations, and affiliate marketing to achieve measurable growth.
- Experiment with new and existing channels, scaling high-performing initiatives into sustainable acquisition engines.
- Improve attribution models, marketing technology, and automation processes for efficiency and growth optimization.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering, design, and marketing operations teams to ensure a seamless user experience and enhance cross-functional processes.
- Lead A/B testing and data-driven experiments to optimize conversion rates and revenue, fostering a culture of rapid iteration.
- Present marketing strategies, insights, and results to the Executive Leadership Team to align on goals and inform decisions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in global paid search and social strategy, campaign management, and budget oversight.
- Experience with internal advertising tools and proven success in increasing ROI and revenue at scale.
- Ability to generate and communicate performance metrics clearly.
- Strong team collaboration and proactive communication skills.
- Understanding of SaaS business models, including MRR and payback periods.
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns on Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Meta, and X; experience with Affiliate Programs, Display, YouTube, and TikTok is a plus.
