NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Performance Software Engineer to lead performance testing efforts, build reusable data-gen frameworks, and drive optimization initiatives across the organization. You will translate real-world usage into performance benchmarks and guide teams in applying data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, including 2+ years in K6 or other load test frameworks, Javascript.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Native Environments AWS will make you a standout candidate.

Responsibilities

• Performance Testing Design and Implementation- Design, implement, maintain, and support performance testing and data generation frameworks to surface actionable performance insights, using k6, JavaScript, Grafana, and InfluxDB.
• Documentation- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architectural decision records, and performance standards.
• Develop Performance Best Practices- Define and evolve best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and measurement. Partner with engineering teams to shape performance testing strategies and scalability approaches.
