Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer for Agentforce Operations to drive performance, scalability, and reliability across the stack. You’ll partner with the founding team to optimize architecture, data models, and asynchronous workflows while delivering observable improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years as backend engineer building and operating user-facing apps and infrastructure.
mastery of Golang, GraphQL, and Postgres with high-performance optimizations.
Experience with major cloud provider (AWS) and scalable backend design.
Strong data modeling, API design, state management, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
Proven ownership of foundational work in complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose architectural problems across distributed backend systems and prioritize fixes.
Design and implement performance optimizations, infrastructure management, and data-model improvements.
Raise engineering quality with pragmatic standards, guardrails, and practices.
Collaborate with product and engineering to understand customer needs and drive adoption.
Mentor engineers, raise the bar on system quality, and help build a high-performing team.
