Job summary

AcqCentric, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to analyze GMD systems for the Missile Defense Agency.

You will develop MATLAB, Python, and C++ tools for medium-fidelity modeling of GBI and NGI, run M&S environments, and provide timely, data-driven performance assessments. You will deliver technical briefings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support future interceptor analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 7+ years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, including model development, data analysis, and visualization.
• Proficiency with Python, including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, numerical methods, optimization techniques, and simulation-based performance assessment.
• Experience interpreting simulation outputs and translating analytical findings into actionable engineering recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting technical analyses to government customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for medium-fidelity modeling and performance assessments of GBI/NGI.
• Develop, execute, and analyze M&S environments to evaluate interceptor performance across scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analyses for IDT data terminal and time-sensitive technical analyses.
• Conduct interceptor performance analyses to identify trends, limitations, and recommendations.
• Support development of future interceptor analysis capabilities, models, simulations, and tools.
• Interpret simulation results and communicate conclusions to engineering teams and government stakeholders.
• Deliver technical briefings on methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions to leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address emerging analysis needs.
