Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to support Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems. The role focuses on MATLAB, Python, and C++ tool development for modeling, simulation, and performance assessment of GBI and NGI.

You will analyze simulations, prepare technical briefings for government stakeholders, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance interceptor capabilities. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.
• Proficient in MATLAB, including model development, data analysis, and visualization.
• Advanced Python proficiency with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, numerical methods, optimization, and simulation-based performance assessment.
• Experience interpreting simulation outputs and translating findings into actionable engineering recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with government customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for medium-fidelity modeling and assessments of GBI/NGI.
• Develop, execute, and analyze M&S environments to evaluate interceptor performance across scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analyses for IDT and time-sensitive technical analyses.
• Conduct interceptor performance analyses to identify trends and limitations and support decisions.
• Support development of future interceptor analysis capabilities and tools.
• Analyze and interpret simulation results to assess performance and derive conclusions.
• Develop and deliver technical briefings to engineers, program leadership, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address analysis needs and future capabilities.
