Job summary

Anyware Robotics is seeking a Senior/Staff AI Perception Engineer (Team Lead) to advance its production 3D AI perception stack for warehouse automation robots. You will own the perception roadmap, set technical direction, and stay hands-on in the codebase with a roughly 60/40 IC/leadership split.

You will lead, mentor, and grow the Perception Team while balancing accuracy, reliability, and latency to deliver impact in real-world deployments.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience developing and deploying AI perception systems with senior-level ownership of architecture and design decisions.
Experience leading a technical team — setting direction, mentoring engineers, and owning delivery across multiple people.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Perception Team — set technical direction, plan, hire, onboard, and mentor engineers while delivering on commitments.
Define the perception architecture and technology roadmap for production 3D AI perception stacks.
Build and ship 3D AI perception on deployed robots, focusing on object localization, pose estimation, and scene reconstruction within cycle-time constraints.
Make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs across accuracy, latency, compute cost, data availability, and maintainability while integrating perception with planning and controls.
