BairesDev is seeking a Senior Perception Engineer to lead the development of perception systems for autonomous platforms, ensuring high-fidelity environmental understanding and reliable decision-making in dynamic environments.

You will architect production-grade perception pipelines for LiDAR, cameras and radar, design multi-sensor fusion, and develop deep learning models in PyTorch for 3D object detection and semantic segmentation, collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in computer vision or perception.
• Experience with real-time perception pipelines for autonomy using C++ or Python.
• Proficient in PyTorch and sensor fusion for LiDAR, camera, and radar.
• Experience with object detection, tracking, and semantic segmentation.
• Strong understanding of CV fundamentals and sensor data processing.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy production-grade perception pipelines for autonomous vehicle environments.
• Design multi-sensor fusion frameworks to integrate data from LiDAR, cameras, and radar.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models for high-accuracy semantic segmentation and scene understanding.
• Enhance 3D object detection capabilities to maintain reliability in diverse and challenging operating conditions.
• Streamline sensor data processing workflows to meet the latency demands of real-time autonomous systems.
