Job summary

Texas Workforce Commission in Austin, TX, seeks a PeopleSoft Solutions Analyst (Systems Analyst V) to translate business challenges into technical solutions using PeopleSoft and SDLC practices. The role reports to the Solutions Analyst Manager within the IT Central Intake and QA Directorate and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits in a state agency environment.

You will be trusted to analyze, design, document, and implement automated solutions while complying with federal and state

Qualifications

Four years of full-time experience in computer programming, systems analysis, and/or program analysis.
Bachelor’s degree or credits may count toward experience qualifications in a technical/analytical field.
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, CAPPS, and SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced analyses on assigned AS projects including business, systems, and technical requirements.
Document analyses using approved software development methodologies and tools.
Coordinate joint application design sessions with customers and IT staff to define requirements and develop system specifications.
Communicate requirements to users and prepare designs, data maps, and process models.
