Job summary

Executive Office of Technology Services and Security in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Business Analyst to support the HR/CMS PeopleSoft HCM system. You will gather requirements, design solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate payroll and HR processes.

The role encompasses lifecycle activities from analysis to testing, production support, and ongoing enhancements, with a Monday–Friday schedule at 1 Ashburton Place, Boston, MA 02108.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as a Business Analyst or similar for enterprise applications.
• Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM including Core HR and PayrollOps.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft environments: configuration changes, interfaces, reporting, release activities.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience analyzing HR/payroll processes end-to-end and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements; create functional specs and flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and partners to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet needs.
• Support PeopleSoft configuration changes, interfaces, reporting and release activities.
• Perform data analysis, mapping, validation, and reconciliation for data conversion and reporting.
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts for system and UAT testing.
• Document defects, track resolution, and validate fixes with teams.
• Support payroll processing, batch scheduling and incident triage in production.
