Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Software Engineer IV to perform complex problem resolution, develop software based on approved design documents, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship and involves leading projects and ensuring timely, quality delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering and 8–12 years of related experience, including 5+ years in PeopleSoft technical/development.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and be accountable for the technical implementation of business software applications.
• Mentor junior developers with code reviews, design reviews and unit test plan reviews.
• Develop complex software applications based on approved design documents.
• Correct system problems as directed by the manager and ensure timely delivery.
• Represent IT as the principal technical contact and drive efficiency and customer service levels.
• Forecast, model and use advanced analytical tools to improve business performance.
