Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Software Developer IV to join the IPPS-A AMP program. This is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site in Arlington, VA, Charleston, SC, or Denver, CO and occasional travel. The role requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will design technical solutions, extend PeopleSoft with PeopleTools, and mentor junior developers in an agile team. Strong SQL skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of federal government/DoD/Army/IC experience.
• Minimum 4 years in a computer software-related field.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL.
• Strong communication skills.
• Certifications in PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SAFe for Teams preferred.
• Current Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Hybrid work with 2 days on-site; Arlington VA, Charleston SC, or Denver CO.

Responsibilities

• Create technical design specifications.
• Extend PeopleSoft functionality using PeopleTools to meet design specs.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specs.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed tools.
• Conduct unit testing per defined QA processes.
• Develop software enhancements and resolve defects.
• Perform peer reviews of configurations and code.
• Explain technical approaches to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
• Mentor junior team members.
