Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting, a Nakupuna Companies entity, seeks a Software Developer IV to join the agile team supporting IPPS-A Army Military Payroll. You will design solutions and extend PeopleSoft capabilities, collaborating with peers to remove blockers and share information across teams.

The role requires a BS in a software/engineering field or 10+ years in federal government/DoD/IC, plus at least 4 years in software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Software or Engineering or 10+ years of government/DoD/IC experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a computer software-related field.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL is required. Certifications in PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SAFe for Teams preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create technical design specifications.
• Extend PeopleSoft software functionality using PeopleTools.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specs.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed tools.
• Conduct unit testing per defined processes.
• Develop and support application enhancements and defects.
• Perform peer reviews of configurations and code.
• Explain technical approaches to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
• Mentor junior team members.
